Hello! My name is Mrs. Kerr and I am the head of Art & Design at St. Jude's Academy. I hold an Honours Bachelor Degree in English and Visual Arts from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University. My interests include: travel, 19th century literature, rugby, ice hockey, bluegrass music, mixed media art & art history.

GR. 8 DESIGN
  • Today students were given their final summative project for Unit 1. We went through the instructions and expectations together. Students had time to begin working on their project and ask any additional questions using the rest of class time.
  • We also reviewed our IB concepts in relation to the final summative project.

SK ART
  • Today we discussed "Dia de los Muertos" and students began colouring their Sugar Skull door decorations.

GR. 7 DESIGN
  • Today we reviewed various assignments, expectations, and concepts from throughout the unit.
  • Students peer-reviewed their Personal Logo and Starbucks Logo Re-Design Assignments.
