• Students learned how to draw a Caterpillar based on our Cosmic Yoga Adventure with The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

• Today we read the story The Cat in the Hat to finish off our two weeks of Dr. Seuss!! 
• Reading through the story students were asked various questions to prepare them for our painting activity next week.
• Students used remaining class time to sculpt or draw.

Today we read the story Hop on Pop. We discussed various rhyming words and students completed a colouring activity.

• This week we are focusing on the theme of Valentine's Day, what is means to love, how we can show our love for others etc.

• Students experienced their first "Free-Draw Friday" in the art room. Today's theme: Dr. Seuss Characters. Students were given the opportunity to draw or sculpt their own Dr. Seuss characters.
