Hello! My name is Mrs. Kerr and I am the head of Art & Design at St. Jude's Academy. I hold an Honours Bachelor Degree in English and Visual Arts from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University. My interests include: travel, 19th century literature, rugby, ice hockey, bluegrass music, mixed media art & art history.

  • Today we finished drawing our lines turtles.
GR. 7 DESIGN
  • Students analyzed their personal logo's using analysis/reflection handout. 
    • Homework: Logo Analysis (if you do not have a printed copy of your logo please print and attach it to your handout) - Due Next Class!
GR. 8 DESIGN
  • Students worked on a Design Specification and Rube Goldberg Video Review.
    • Homework: Rube Goldberg Comic - Due Next Class!

  • Today we discussed the concepts of form and texture. Students demonstrated their knowledge and skills through a textured hand drawing.
    • Homework: Textured Hand & Checklist Items. Due Next Class!
