GR. 8 HISTORY

Students worked on their Heritage Minute video project and submitted their scripts, storyboards, and rubric checklists today. Monday May 2nd = presentations.

JK ART

We created our own bugs using various shapes and colours while working on our gluing skills.

Today we discussed Symmetry and drew as well as coloured symmetry bugs.

GR. 8 HISTORY

Today students had a work period to continue editing their Heritage Minute video projects. Students were talked through the rubric last class and are to create a checklist and read through the criteria during today's class to confirm that all expectations for the project have been met.

Presentations Due: MONDAY MAY 2nd.

GR. 8 DESIGN

Students had a work period to continue painting the background of their Graffiti Design skateboards.

ART SMOCKS

As several MYP classes are beginning to work with paint, just a friendly reminder:

ART SMOCKS

*Are available for all students to use in the art room.

*MYP Students have been shown where the art smocks are located.

*MYP Students are responsible for using the art smocks while painting and returning them at the end of class time.

SK ART

Students talked about Symmetry and how to go about creating symmetrical drawings. We then created Symmetry Bugs.

GR. 9 & 10 ART

Students have been working diligently on their Colour Wheel projects. Today was a work period. Those who have completed their colour wheels have been working on their Technology Website Design assignment.

JK & SK ART

Today we created our own Bugs using various shapes and colours while working on our placement and gluing techniques.

7 & 8 DESIGN

Today we discussed proper cleaning procedures for using Acrylic paint in the classroom. Students continued working on their Graffiti Design skateboard project.

GR. 8 HISTORY

Today we went over the presentation rubric (each student wrote the rubric point in their notes to reference with their video before presentations). They used the rest of class time to edit their videos.
