Hello! My name is Mrs. Kerr and I am the head of Art & Design at St. Jude's Academy. I hold an Honours Bachelor Degree in English and Visual Arts from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University. My interests include: travel, 19th century literature, rugby, ice hockey, bluegrass music, mixed media art & art history.

  • Students analyzed and participated in small activities regarding the Elements of Art.
HOMEWORK: Anything that has not been completed to date:
    • Unit Visualization
    • Photo Examples for the Principles of Design
    • Today's Shape, Form & Value activities for the Elements of Art
  • ALL ARE DUE MONDAY FOR SUBMISSION AND GRADING!
JK ART
  • Today students participated in a drama activity called Emotional Animals. Each student chose an animal and emotion and students were asked to portray this animal and feeling/emotion while moving around the classroom.

  • Today students began working on a Cubism activity in which they are to draw/use a photo to break apart into geometric shapes and piece back together in the Cubist style.
HOMEWORK: Cubism Notes & Visualization (from last day). Due for submission and marking Monday!
