- Students drew Self-Portraits and practiced writing their names.
- SK students learned about warm and cool colours. They are currently working on an art project to display their knowledge of said colours.
Grade 7 & 8 Design
- Students participated in a Kahoot Quiz introducing them to IB Contexts, Concepts & the Statement of Inquiry.
- Students were introduced to the IB Design Cycle. They answered the following questions followed by a classroom discussion:
- What is the Design Cycle?
- Why is it important?
- Students created a Design Cycle to display in the classroom for future reference.
- Students were introduced to the concepts of Learning Goal, Success Criteria, and Assessment "For," "As," and "Of" learning and came up with examples for each assessment strategy.
ALC2O
