- Today students participated in a Think-Pair-Share activity where they discussed their Simple Invention Research Assignment with a partner and answered the following questions in their process journals:
- What is the name of your partner's chosen simple invention?
- What does their chosen simple invention do?
- Do you agree that it is a simple invention? Why or why not?
- Would you use this product? Why or why not?
- Students then worked in Mastermind groups to come up with innovative solutions to every-day problems.
ALC2O
- Students took advantage of a work period to complete drawings of the Principles of Design last day.
- They also utilized any time left in class to study for their Quiz next week!
GR. 7 DESIGN
- Students were introduced to the Elements of Art and used the rest of class time to draw examples of each in their sketchbooks.
- Write 5 sentences explaining the similarities and differences between the Elements of Art & the Principles of Design.
- Anything not completed in class is due for homework on Monday!
