- Hello! My name is Mrs. Kerr and I am the head of Art & Design at St. Jude's Academy. I hold an Honours Bachelor Degree in English and Visual Arts from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University. My interests include: travel, 19th century literature, rugby, ice hockey, bluegrass music, mixed media art & art history.
I love when students get involved in decorating rooms. I feel it brings the whole school community closer. A lot of times teachers will just decorate their room and it looks pretty but the children have not played a role and so they do not feel that that is "their" classroom. I find students behave better when given more responsibilities.
