Today we drew our favourite animals!
Grade 3 &4
We finished up our "Minion" portraits and displayed them on the wall in the classroom for everyone to see. I have been getting compliments all day on all of your hard work!
The grade 3 and 4 class project to create minions was so exciting and interesting that we also made our own.
Grade 1 & 1/2
We were also very interested in the Minion portraits so half of our class made our own drawings and the other half of the class drew and coloured a Bristol board birthday card, happy birthday Mr. Foster!!
Geography
Today was our last day in Geography with Mrs. Kerr, tomorrow we will have a new teacher Ms. B who is absolutely fantastic. We reviewed latitude and longitude and had a lesson on effective note-taking, tips for multiple choice tests/exams, and how to study for Geography. Today's lesson was in preparation for the rest of the semester and is very useful for other courses as well.
(No homework yay!!)
Technology - Grade 7
Today we continued our Elements and Principles drawing and colouring exercise. We have had trouble with the internet therefore handouts were given with the definitions to assist students with their assignment. We will continue working on this for the rest of the week.
Technology - Grade 8
Today we continued with our "Rube Goldberg" project. Again we had trouble accessing the internet therefore students were asked to make groups and come up with a design of their own. They will be working on these designs for the rest of the week and will implement said designs next week.
