Today we read the book "Lines that Wiggle" and practiced making various types of lines.
Today students had a work period to put together their final design sketches and design statements. Students will participate in a one-on-one conference with the teacher to discuss their ideas before starting to create on their skateboard.
GR. 8 History
Today we had a guest speaker come in to discuss the Factors Leading to Confederation as well as the Three Conferences leading to final Confederation decisions. Students will use this class knowledge to solidify their Heritage Minute video project ideas.
For tomorrow's class: students are asked to bring in laptops and/or any devices needed to begin the editing process for their videos.
