Hello! My name is Mrs. Kerr and I am the head of Art & Design at St. Jude's Academy. I hold an Honours Bachelor Degree in English and Visual Arts from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University. My interests include: travel, 19th century literature, rugby, ice hockey, bluegrass music, mixed media art & art history.

 Today we worked on a Valentine's Day craft!





Grade 7 & 8 Design


Today students were introduced to modern costume design and we discussed the materials needed to generate artistic design ideas related to their chosen characters. Students are to bring in materials next week Tuesday (February 16th) to start creating their modern costume designs. Examples are displayed below:





Grade 8 History

Students had a work period to collect and put together their Daily Life: Part One Research assignment. Student are to have all information collected and put together for Tuesday next week (February 16th).
