Today we learned the words and started working on the actions for the song You Are My Sunshine.
Grade 7 & 8 Technology
Today we discussed and defined the term Innovation. For next class students are to research 3 Agricultural Innovations and answer the following questions for each:
1. Who created it?
2. What does it do?
3. Why is/was it innovative?
4. Include photos and/or sketches
Grade 8 History
Students were given a quiz as to review various questions regarding Canadian history. For Thursday students are to create a unit title page with the following title "Shaping the Nation." They are to include the following:
1. Title displayed prominently in block or bubble letters
2. Three or more diagrams related to the unit theme
3. Entire page must be coloured in - images and letters outlined to stand out from the background.
4. Short written component (3-5 sentences) on the back, highlighting how each image selected relates to the theme.
