Junior Kindergarten
Today we worked on a Scarecrow colouring page and had our pictures taken for our art portfolios.
Grade 3 & 4
Students continued working on their Fairytale Landscape drawings. They also had pictures taken for their arts portfolios.
Grade 2
Today we worked on a Flag art project for class and had our pictures taken for our arts portfolios.
Grade 1 & 1/2
Students worked on a Scarecrow colouring page and spent the end of class time working on our listening skills.
Grade 7 & 8 Technology
Unit #2 has commenced and students were asked to write written reflections on the following questions:
1. In what ways do we use technology for formal presentations? (2-3 sentences).
2. List 5 examples of programs/formats used for presentation. Explain in 1-2 sentences how they work.

- Hello! My name is Mrs. Kerr and I am the head of Art & Design at St. Jude's Academy. I hold an Honours Bachelor Degree in English and Visual Arts from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University. My interests include: travel, 19th century literature, rugby, ice hockey, bluegrass music, mixed media art & art history.
